The Story
Fully restored from the ground up, this 1995 Honda Acty HA4 4×4 shows just 32,500 kilometers and represents over 1,500 hours of labor and craftsmanship by the team at KEI EVOLUTION. Finished in Taffeta White with a bespoke black leather interior, it’s titled and registered in the U.S., and offered by its meticulous owner in Delray Beach, Florida.
Meticulously restored and thoughtfully upgraded, this Acty HA4 4×4 is equally suited for a discerning JDM collector or micro-utility enthusiast. From its custom stainless fabrication to its fully refreshed drivetrain and handcrafted interior, it represents one of the most comprehensive Acty restorations in the U.S. The full restoration is documented in the restoration gallery below.
- Compact Capability. The Honda Acty HA4 embodies Japan’s kei-class ingenuity — lightweight, practical and tough. Produced from 1988 to 1999, the HA4 generation is the last to feature Honda’s mechanical four-wheel drive system, a mid-mounted 656cc E07A 3-cylinder engine and a manual gearbox.
- Complete Frame-Off Restoration. 2.5 years of work and more than 1,500 documented labor hours, including 400 hours of bodywork and 150 hours of media blasting. Every nut, bolt and bracket was refinished or replaced, with custom stainless-steel components fabricated throughout.
- Reliable Powertrain. Honda’s factory-rated 656cc E07A inline-3 paired with a 5-speed manual and selectable 4×4. Engine, differential and transmission fully serviced with OEM Honda parts.
- Distinctive Exterior Details. Refinished in PPG Taffeta White with House of Kolor clear and color-matched textured undercoating, custom billet aluminum emblems, stainless hardware, BMW 2002 wheels and a Baja Designs red rock light that doubles as a third brake light.
- Refined Cabin. New custom seat foam sourced from a 1965 Ford Mustang wrapped in black leather, one-piece leather headliner, MOMO mahogany accents, sound deadening, Bluetooth audio and Kicker speakers.
