The Story

Kei trucks are a crowd favorite, and the Honda Acty is a popular choice thanks to its practicality and lovable styling. This particular Acty may be one of the coolest ever offered on Cars & Bids: it carries a long list of thoughtful modifications and was sold with a Honda Motocompacto electric scooter for the ultimate city commuting combination.

This Acty is a right-hand-drive, Japanese-market kei truck equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and titled in Florida. Its metric instrument cluster displays about 27,100 kilometers, which represents approximately 16,900 miles.

Power comes from a 656cc inline-three rated at roughly 38 horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque in stock form, spinning all four wheels through the 5-speed manual. Factory equipment includes drop-down and removable bed sides, vinyl upholstery, a flip-up passenger seat and manually operated windows.

The build focuses on quality parts that complement the truck rather than overshadow it: a WirusWin stainless exhaust, EZ Kei Sports front coilovers, Moog strut bushings, 14-inch Enkei RPF1 185-Special wheels, Baja Designs auxiliary lighting, and a MOMO Prototipo steering wheel with matching shift knob.

The truck received paintless dent removal for various dings and was repainted in its factory color to address scratches and scuffs, and a comprehensive round of service was completed from July 2023 onward. It sold at no reserve for $20,900 on March 13, 2024.
